Recap of Panchayat season 4 and what to expect in Panchayat season 5

Panchayat season 4 ended with some big moments. Manju Devi lost the village election, and Kranti Devi took over as the new head of the village. We also saw Sachiv Ji successfully clearing his CAT exam, which was a major milestone for his character.

Season 5 is expected to continue from where season 4 ended. The teaser shows the characters looking happy and hopeful. A notable detail in the teaser is the presence of a bottle gourd (called ‘lauki’ in Hindi).

Reports suggest that season 5 will answer many questions left unanswered in season 4. Viewers want to know who wins the next election, whether Sachiv Ji and Rinki will finally get together, if Sachiv Ji will succeed in his exams, and also who shot Pradhan Ji. Also, the new season is expected to prominently feature village elections.

The cast of Panchayat season 5 will include fan favourites like Jitendra Kumar as Sachiv Ji, Neena Gupta as Manju Devi, Raghubir Yadav, Chandan Roy, Faisal Malik, Sanvikaa, and others. The series is created by Deepak Kumar Mishra and Chandan Kumar, with Chandan Kumar writing the script. The direction is handled by Akshat Vijaywargiya and Deepak Kumar Mishra.
