Xiaomi has debuted its latest wireless Bluetooth speakers, the Basic 2 at its ‘Diwali with Mi’ sale. The speaker is priced at Rs 1,799 and is currently available via Mi’s website. It supports Bluetooth 4.2 technology and measures 154.5mm × 60mm × 25.5mm.
The Bluetooth speaker weighs 237g and features two 2.5 watt speakers. The speaker sports a matte aluminium frame and curved edges. It also comes with an integrated microphone to receive calls and features noise reduction as well. Users need to press the power button on the speaker to receive calls.
Being a wireless speaker, it can easily connect to your Android, iOS or any other Bluetooth compatible devices. It is powered by a 5V 1200mAh battery and the company claims that it can provide continuous audio playback of up to 10 hours at 40 percent volume. The speaker also comes with an aux-in port for plug and play audio and a microUSB port for charging.
