Realme Buds Air 5 Pro launched globally: Why you must check it out

With the Realme 11 5G series coming to China, Realme also decided to surprise its audience with the new Realme Buds Air 5 Pro TWS earbuds. 

There were tips and leaks that suggested the launch of Realme Buds Air 5 Pro. We even garnered some details about it earlier, but now with the launch we have all the details starting from its price to its specifications.

Price of Realme Buds Air 5 Pro

The Realme Buds Air 5 Pro is available for RMB 499 which amounts to approximately ₹5910. 

Specifications of Realme Buds Air 5 Pro

The new TWS by Realme comes with a dual-driver setup along with 11mm woofers and a 6mm micro planar tweeters. These buds also have a 40ms super low latency mode which is of great use especially for gamers. The Buds Air 5 Pro is dependent on Bluetooth 5.3 and supports SBC, AAC, and LDHC audio codecs. 

The Realme Buds Air 5 Pro supports pop up connectivity which means that as soon as you open the case it gets connected to the device with which it has earlier been connected. Of Course your device needs to have its bluetooth switched on for that to work. Also, you can use the Realme Link app for the ANC mode and to update the firmware.

The buds also come with a 6-mic design and have noise-cancellation features. They also support dual connection viz., it can be connected to two devices at the same time. Also, there are controls on the buds itself which you can use to pause, play, receive calls or reject calls. 

The Realme buds offer 40 hours of battery life and can go on for 11 hours at a stretch if used at half the volume and without ANC support. Coming to the colour variants, they come in two colours- Sunset City and Starry Night Black. The case comes with a C-type charging port and also supports fast charging. It takes around 50 minutes for the buds to get charged if it's at 0% and inside the case. But when the case is put up for charging with the buds inside them, then the entire charging princess takes around 2 hours. 

Availability of Realme Buds Air 5 Pro

The Realme Buds Air 5 Pro has been launched in China but will be available for purchase only from May 31, 2023. It is available for pre-booking though only in China. Hopefully this will soon hit the Indian market as well.
