Google rolls out update for Gmail app that lets you upload files from Google Drive.

Google’s new update to the Gmail app now lets users attach files via Google Drive. The app has been updated for both Android and iOS users and is rolling out now. Earlier you could save attachments from incoming mails to your drive. The app will let you know if your file isn’t shared with the person you’re sending it to so that you can change the sharing settings before you can send it.

On iOS though users can also change their profile pictures right from your settings. In iOS if you have multiple gmail accounts the app will let you choose accounts which you want to sign-in.

This Google drive integration of Gmail was already available for the web version of the service and now it is moving to its mobile apps. The app will be automatically updated if you use it or you can download it from:
