Apple has announced an exclusive “Diwali Room” section on Apple Music which features first releases, new artist spotlight and curated playlists to listen to this Diwali.
Apple Music users will get exclusive access to a single, “Dil-Wali Diwali” sung by Shankar Mahadevan and his sons. The song is exclusively available on Apple Music till October 20. An exclusive album by the Delhi based rapper, Prabh Deep, has been featured as this month’s Apple Music’s New Artist Spotlight. The album is exclusive on Apple Music till October 22.
Apart from the exclusive singles and albums, Apple Music says it has “put together perfect playlists for festive listening.” The music streaming service is also offering various curated playlists across different genres and languages for Diwali.
Apps like Myntra, Hike and Swiggy are also hosting exclusive Diwali offers for Apple’s App store users. While shopping using the Myntra app, iOS users will get a Rs 1000 discount on a minimum purchase of Rs 4000. The app is also adding support for Apple’s ARKit, which enables users to measure their shoe size while shopping online.
Hike messenger is introducing Blue Packets. The Blue Packet is a Digital Envelope, which allows users to gift each other digital cash on the messaging platform. Hike has also added special Diwali filters and stickers for their users this festive season.
Swiggy, the online food ordering app is offering free delivery offers for its new iOS users. The free deliveries will be running from October 13 to October 20, but is only valid for three deliveries. The free delivery coupon will be sent to a user after they place their first order.
