This time around, the company has utilized the power of Artificial Intelligence to assist your selfie game. The company claims that this helps ensure that each picture you take looks natural and gorgeous.
In order for the AI to do its thing, you are going to need a good camera hardware. That is where the 20MP front facing camera comes into play. This lets the OPPO F5 take extremely detailed images, which the AI can then work with. On top of this, you get a large f/2.0 aperture lens and a 1/2.8-inch sensor to take in more light, resulting in brighter images taken during low light conditions.
Once the OPPO F5 takes a photo, the software takes over. The Artificial Intelligence in the OPPO F5 uses more than 200 positioning spots to accentuate your facial features. This is then used to enhance the symmetry between features like the eyes, nose, cheekbones and jawline to create a perfectly refined and natural selfie. The AI has a database of human faces from all around the globe. It uses this information to ensure that the resultant selfie looks good, regardless of your skin tone, skin type, gender and age.
Besides all this, the OPPO F5 will also remove any blemishes that may be there on your face. However, don’t think that the phone is only meant for for beauty queens. The phone can also help beautify the faces of males and even children. This means that everyone will be able to take better selfies.
Furthermore, the AI in the OPPO F5 is also smart enough to recognise you face even against complex backgrounds. So if you take a picture with a painting, you can rest assured knowing that it will only be your face that is given the beauty treatment, not the painting.
On top of this, you also get a beauty-iris tool that ensures that your eyes will shine brighter in your selfie. The front facing camera on the OPPO F5 is also smart enough to detect your face regardless of the surroundings. So you could be taking a selfie during a romantic sunset or when partying hard at the pub, the phone will be able to differentiate between background lighting conditions to ensure that each selfie looks great.
