Apart from the usual Google apps, pre-loaded apps on a smartphone offer an added advantage as it helps users to reduce the load of downloading numerous apps. Lenovo has generously added some useful apps to the Vibe Z and we tested them out to see if they are really worth.
SECUREit – Protect your smartphone and keep it secure
The Vibe Z features an app called SECUREit, which is essentially a security tool which offers a number of features including an anti-virus, a privacy guard, data usage management, anti-spam, memory cleaner, anti-theft, privacy locker, and parent control. Having all of the features in one place makes it easier to have a control of your device.
SYNCit – A quick way to backup your data
Another useful app on the Vibe Z is the backup app called SYNCit. This app allows you to back-up your contacts, SMS messages and call-logs onto a personalized cloud storage offered by Lenovo or onto your local storage in the smartphone. This helps in the case where you format the smartphone or accidently delete your data. One can easily hit restore and get all the data back.
SHAREit – Wireless sharing made easy
For file transferring and sharing purposes, Lenovo has added the SHAREit app which is a wireless data sharing app which uses Bluetooth, and even Wi-Fi sharing to transfer multimedia content to your friends or devices like LCDs and audio devices. It has a very simple UI which makes sharing much easy.
Some other useful apps loaded with the Vibe Z include a very intuitive Car mode app, a business card reader, document scanner and also an office app to organize your documents.
