Navratri begins with Ghatasthapana (Kalash Sthapana) and continues with daily pujas dedicated to the Navadurgas. Many devotees observe fasts, recite the Durga Saptashati, and perform evening aartis. The final two days – Maha Navami and Vijayadashami are celebrated with grandeur, concluding with Durga Visarjan and symbolic Ravan Dahan in many parts of India.
