Vivo has launched a new smartphone under its Y-series of devices. Called the Vivo Y83, the phone is priced at Rs 14,990 and is available in Black and Gold. The phone sports a 6.22-inch HD+ display with a 19:9 display aspect ratio. The phone is powered by a MediaTek Helio P22 SoC with 4GB of RAM.

Vivo, the global premium smartphone brand, today launched the Vivo Y83, under its Y series of product portfolio. The all new Y83 has a 15.46cm (6.22) 19:9 HD+ display which offers an increased viewing area of 15.5%, when compared with standard 16:9 aspect ratio smartphones. The 2.5D back cover lends an elegant and sleek look to the smartphone which complements its overall design.

The Vivo Y83 is powered by the latest MediaTek Helio P22 octa-core processor and backed by 4GB RAM for a seamless performance. With 32GB in-built storage and an option to further expand it to 256GB, the smartphone offers ample space for applications and multimedia content such as music, pictures and videos.
The smartphone also includes a split screen feature which can be easily activated by sliding down three fingers to split the screen in two.
