Micromax has announced that it has sold more than a million Canvas Spark series phones in less than six months of its launch on Snapdeal. This makes the Canvas Spark series one of India’s largest selling 3G phones. It stated that the two phones in the series, the Canvas Spark and Canvas Spark 2 received more than 90,000 positive consumer ratings on Snapdeal. The company also said that the Canvas Spark series of smartphones will now be available on open sale on Snapdeal. Micromax also announced that the Canvas Spark 2 is now available with a data package from Airtel that allows consumers to use WhatsApp for five months free of charge.
