Specifications and features

As Mini LEDs are considerably smaller than traditional LEDs, these TVs would allow for more precise dimming zones and better light control, translating to deeper blacks, improved contrast, reduced blooming, and brighter HDR performance. This is backed by Samsung’s Pure Spectrum Color technology for wider and more accurate colour reproduction. The company claims over 90% wide colour gamut coverage through its phosphor technology. For visual enhancement, there are features such as Color Booster and Mini LED HDR to improve colour depth and dynamic contrast during streaming and gaming.

Speaking of which, gamers can enjoy Motion Xcelerator 144Hz support at 4K resolution while playing games with connected PCs. Even users with current-generation gaming consoles could expect smoother motion and lower blur in fast-paced games and sports content.

Under the hood, the TVs have Samsung’s NQ4 AI Gen2 processor with a 20-neural-network architecture. This should help in real-time AI upscaling, picture optimisation, and sound adjustments.

For audio, Samsung has also integrated the AI Sound Controller, which adjusts audio settings based on viewing preferences and content type.

And for smart homes, there is SmartThings integration and Samsung Knox Security.

On the software side, you get One UI Tizen with seven years of OS upgrades. The lineup also includes access to Samsung TV Plus, the company’s free ad-supported streaming platform offering over 150 channels across 14 languages in India.

Besides the Mini LED TVs, on the Samsung website, you can also find new TVs under the QLED, Neo QLED and OLED range. Some notable models include QN80H and QN70H Neo QLED TVs and S95H, S90H, and S85H OLED TVs.
