Hence, the OnePlus TV is likely to have the ports and connections at the bottom.
Lau has also revealed that the OnePlus TV will run Android TV. It will also receive software updates for at least three years. Hence, the TV will offer features like access to Google Assistant and the Play Store. Further, Lau said in a post that the goal is to offer the same fast and smooth experience of OnePlus phones for the OnePlus TV and the only way to achieve that was by adopting Android TV. However, it is expected to ship with a modified version of Android TV OS.
Rumours have it that the OnePlus TV would be announced in four different sizes: 43-inch, 55-inch, 65-inch, and 75-inch size variants. The TV will feature a custom Gamma Color Magic processor.
