The launch event for the Redmi Note 5 is scheduled for February 14 and will be streamed live by Xiaomi on its social channels.
There are clues in the social media post by Flipkart and an embedded video states that the phone is indeed the Redmi Note 5 and not the Redmi 5 as previously assumed.

Flipkart also released a teaser video that hints at the possible features of the upcoming Redmi Note 5 smartphone. The phone is likely to sport a taller 18:9 aspect ratio display and will be powered by a newer Qualcomm Snapdragon mid-range processor.
