Xiaomi is now set to bring back the T series in India. The company has now confirmed that it will be introducing the Xiaomi 17T in the Indian market in the first week of June. Notably, the launch is scheduled shortly after its global unveiling scheduled for May 28 alongside the Xiaomi 17T Pro. It seems that the device will be a camera focused smartphone as the company confirmed the Leica partnership in the teaser. Xiaomi has confirmed that the Xiaomi 17T will launch in India on June 4. The smartphone is expected to sit below the Xiaomi 17 in the company’s lineup. However, there is no official wording about the price. However, the report suggest that it could remain competitive in the premium segment and priced at around Rs 60,000.

Xiaomi 17T expected specs
The Xiaomi 17T is said to feature a 6.59-inch AMOLED display with 1.5K resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. In terms of design, the device could resemble the Xiaomi 17 with flat edges and a squircle shaped camera. Under the hood, the device may get a MediaTek Dimensity 8500 Ultra processor. The device may feature a large 6,500mAh silicon-carbon battery and may rin on Android 16 based HyperOS. It may also offer dual SIM support and IP68-rated water and dust resistance.
Speaking of optics, the Xiaomi 17T is expected to feature a triple rear camera setup consisting of two 50MP sensors alongside a 12MP camera. Leica branding is also expected to return, bringing photography-focused modes and imaging enhancements similar to Xiaomi’s flagship lineup. For selfies and video calls, the phone may feature a 32MP front camera.
