Vivo has refreshed the Y series lineup for 2021 starting with the Y20G. The phone has a similar design to the Vivo Y20, Vivo Y20i, and Vivo Y20A, but the internals have been refreshed to offer better performance.

The Vivo Y20G comes with a triple rear camera setup at the back and is powered by MediaTek Helio G80 SoC. The phone features a water drop display with a 6.52-inch HD+ screen with a resolution of 720×1,600 pixels. It comes with 6 GB RAM and 128 GB storage for the base variant. For the optics, the setup consists of a 13-megapixel primary camera with f/2.2 aperture and two 2-megapixel cameras with f/2.4 aperture, each. For selfies, there's an 8-megapixel camera with an f/1.8 aperture. 

Vivo Y20G

The dual-SIM phone runs on Android 11-based Funtouch OS 11 out of the box and features Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth v4.2, GPS/ A-GPS, FM radio, and a Micro-USB port. It has a 5,000 mAh battery and supports 18W fast charging. It also houses a side-mounted fingerprint scanner for biometric security.

The phone is available in two colours – Obsidian Black and Purist Blue and retails for Rs. 14,990. The phone will be available on Amazon, Flipkart, Vivo India e-Store, Paytm, Tata Cliq, and across all major offline retail stores in the country. Also, the company says that the Vivo Y20G is manufactured at Vivo's Greater Noida facility to align with the government's Make in India initiative.
