In a recent announcement by Samsung, the company confirmed that it will hold a Galaxy Unpacked event in February. Samsung will announce the new line of the Galaxy S-series, which is likely to be called the Galaxy S22. In a recent tweet by Evan Blass, a promotional leaked poster showed off a February 9 date for the event. Samsung has not made any official announcements regarding the date of the event as yet. The upcoming lineup is said to include three models — Samsung Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22+, and Galaxy S22 Ultra. Pre-orders have already started for the devices in the US. 

The Samsung Galaxy Unpacked event could see the launch of a bunch of new Samsung devices. Samsung President and Head of MX Business, TM Roh, recently teased the upcoming launch of  Samsung Galaxy S22 smartphones calling it one of the most “noteworthy” Galaxy series created so far by the organization. The smartphone company has yet to confirm the event itself, but if the leaks are to be believed, we have a new line of Galaxy smartphones launching soon. 

Samsung Galaxy Unpacked: What to expect

The much-anticipated event is expected to include the Samsung Galaxy S22 variant, alongside the Galaxy S22+ and Galaxy S22 Ultra models. Additionally, it will also include the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 and Exynos 2200 chips under the hood, which will be based on the location of the launch. The smartphone devices will also come with 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. The Galaxy S22 Ultra is tipped to come with an S Pen as well. A glimpse of the Galaxy S22 series was also shared in a 15-second video by Samsung.
