Samsung is reportedly working behind the scenes on its next big flagship lineup, the Galaxy S26 series. As usual, the family is expected to include three phones: the Galaxy S26, Galaxy S26+, and the top-end Galaxy S26 Ultra. A new leak suggests that the Ultra model could bring a noticeable upgrade in battery size and charging speed compared to the Galaxy S25 Ultra.

According to the leak, the Galaxy S26 Ultra may come with a 5,200mAh battery, slightly higher than the 5,000mAh battery found in the Galaxy S25 Ultra. On paper, this 200mAh increase doesn’t seem huge, but it is still a welcome change.
Interestingly, this new 5,200mAh rumour doesn’t fully match an earlier report from a Chinese certification listing, according to Gizchina. That older information mentioned a 4,885mAh rated capacity, which usually translates to a 5,000mAh typical capacity for marketing, similar to the S25 Ultra. Because of this conflict, it’s still unclear which leak is correct.
There are also rumours about faster charging. The Galaxy S26 Ultra is rumored to support 60W wired charging and 25W wireless charging. If true, this would be a big step up from the 45W wired charging that Samsung has used on its Ultra models for several generations.
For now, these are just leaks and rumors, so it’s advised to take them with a pinch of salt.
Samsung Galaxy S26 series launch date and price in India (Expected)
The Galaxy S26 Ultra may debut between February 15 and February 28, 2026. According to reports, the Galaxy S26 Ultra could start at around Rs 1,34,999 in India.
