SurveySamsung Galaxy S26 Ultra India launch timeline (Expected)
Most reports point to a February 2026 global unveiling for the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra. Up until now, Samsung has released its flagship models in India within weeks of their global announcement, so the India release should also fall in the same month or early March 2026. There is no official date from the company yet, so these timelines are based on the trend the company has followed in previous years with S-series launches.
Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra: Specifications (Expected)
Several online leaks have hinted at changes in the colour options this year. One image shared on social platforms pointed to the possibility of a new orange colour that looked similar to shades seen on rival phones. While some experts doubt the picture, most reports agree that Samsung may mix familiar colours with a few fresh ones to attract more buyers. Apart from the colours, the overall design is expected to follow Samsung’s clean and simple style that is seen on its current flagship models.

Leaks suggest that the Galaxy S26 Ultra could come with a 6.9-inch AMOLED screen. The display is said to offer a 120Hz refresh rate along with peak brightness going up to 3,000 nits, which would make the screen easier to view under strong sunlight. On the inside, the phone may run on Qualcomm’s upcoming Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip. This could be paired with 16GB RAM and 256GB storage in the base variant. The battery is expected to stay at 5,000 mAh, but the charging speed may go up to 60 W, which would be faster than many earlier models from Samsung.
According to leaks from popular tipsters, Samsung may keep a quad-camera setup on the S26 Ultra. The main camera is expected to be a 200MP sensor. This could be joined by a 50MP ultrawide camera, a 50MP telephoto camera with 5x optical zoom and another 10MP telephoto unit. If these leaked details are correct, Samsung seems to be improving zoom performance while keeping the main camera strong for everyday photography.

Reports indicate that the Galaxy S26 Ultra may cost more than the previous model. The price in India is expected to fall between Rs 1,34,999 and Rs 1,39,999. The rise is said to be due to higher component costs along with Samsung’s focus on more premium materials and added AI-based features.
