The Redmi Note 12 5G series is rumoured to launch in India on January 5.

The Redmi Note 12 Pro+ is expected to have a 200MP camera.

The brand has not confirmed the launch date as of yet.

Noted tipster Mukul Sharma revealed via a tweet that the Redmi Note 12 5G series is all set to launch in India on January 5. The series had been launched in China in October. While Redmi has not revealed the launch date officially, the company has released a teaser that lets customers know that the series will be available in Indian markets soon.

Redmi Note 12 5G specifications (expected)

The Redmi Note 12 will come with a 6.67-inch full-HD screen with a 120Hz refresh rate. It will be powered by a 6nm octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 1 SoC and offer 8GB RAM. The smartphone will have a dual camera module with a 48MP primary shooter and a 2 MP depth sensor. The front camera is expected to be 8MP.

Redmi Note 12 Pro specifications (expected)

The Redmi Note 12 Pro is rumoured to have a 6.67-inch full-HD+ OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The display will have HDR10+ support along with a 240Hz touch sampling rate. It will run on an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 1080 SoC and is equipped with 12GB LPDDR4x RAM and Mali-G68 GPU. 

Redmi Note 12 Pro+ specifications (expected)

The most exciting specification of the Redmi Note 12 Pro+ may perhaps be the camera – the smartphone has a 200MP primary camera with OIS support. It also has an 8MP ultra-wide angle camera and a 2MP macro lens. 

The smartphone will come with a 6.67-inch full-HD OLED display with support for HDR10+ and Dolby Vision.
