A few months after launching the regular RedMagic 7, Nubia has unveiled a souped-up sibling named RedMagic 7 Pro. This new gaming smartphone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor. But that’s not all. The device is also armed with a dedicated gaming chip called Red Core 1, 16GB+512GB of maximum memory configuration, and an under-display camera (UDC).
Here are its full specifications:
RedMagic 7 Pro has got a 6.8-inch FHD+ AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate, and a 960Hz touch sampling rate. The front camera is also lying beneath the display and it’s a 16MP sensor.
The back cameras include a 64MP main camera, an 8MP ultrawide snapper, and a 2MP macro sensor.
Under the hood, the phone houses a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset coupled with a Red Core 1 chip. The latter is being used for controlling RGB lighting, haptic feedback, and audio processing on the phone. Nubia has also stowed in a fan with 20000 RPM and built-in RGB LED lighting (on the Transparent edition).
RedMagic 7 Pro also comes with Android 12 OS, dual shoulder triggers, DTS-backed dual speakers, a 3.5mm headphone jack, 3 mics, WiFi 6 (2x2 MIMO), Bluetooth 5.2, an under-screen fingerprint scanner, and a heart rate sensor.
