Oppo seems to be gearing up for the launch of its next mid-premium lineup, the Reno 15 series, in China soon. The lineup is expected to include three models: Reno 15, Reno 15 Pro, and Reno 15 Pro+. However, in India, the brand introduces only the vanilla and the Pro model. While the brand has yet to confirm an official launch date, new leaks have already spilt the beans on what to expect from the upcoming smartphones.

Oppo Reno 15 Pro, Reno 15 India launch timeline
The Oppo Reno 15 and Reno 15 Pro are anticipated to be released around November 2025 in China, following the brand’s usual launch schedule. While there’s no official word from Oppo yet, the Reno 15 series has reportedly entered testing in India and other global markets, suggesting that a global rollout might follow shortly after its China debut.

The standard Oppo Reno 15 5G is expected to come with a price tag of around Rs 40,000, whereas the Pro variant could be priced at Rs 55,000 in India.

According to tipster Debayan Roy (Gadgetsdata), both the Reno 15 and Reno 15 Pro are expected to feature 120Hz flat OLED panels with a 1.5K resolution. The standard Reno 15 is said to sport a larger 6.59-inch display, while the Pro variant could come with a slightly smaller 6.31-inch screen.
In terms of performance, both models are expected to run on MediaTek’s Dimensity 8000 series chipsets, though earlier reports suggested a more powerful Dimensity 9500 SoC.
The camera setup is where things get interesting. The standard Reno 15 might feature a triple 50MP array, comprising a primary, telephoto, and ultra-wide-angle lens. The Pro model, however, could step it up with a 200MP primary shooter, a 50MP periscope telephoto lens, and the same ultra-wide camera as its sibling. Both devices are also said to sport a camera module design inspired by Apple’s iPhone 17 Pro, featuring a similar layout with the LiDAR and LED flash placement.

The Reno 15 Pro is expected to house a 6,000mAh cell, while the vanilla Reno 15 could pack an even larger capacity.
