Oppo is reportedly gearing up to expand its F-series smartphone portfolio with the new Oppo F31 series. The handset is expected to comprise the standard Oppo F31 and the higher-end Oppo F31 Pro, which will likely debut in India soon. According to tipster Paras Guglani via @passionategeekz on X (formerly Twitter), the upcoming series will come with a massive battery upgrade; however, the camera or chipset may not get a substantial improvement.

In terms of performance, the F31 Pro is rumoured to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 processor. The upcoming F31 series is said to sport the 360-degree Armour Body, similar to their predecessor, the F29 series. The handsets may feature an aluminium alloy motherboard cover, reinforced diamond-cut corners, and impact-absorbing airbags, for protection against accidental drops.
Additionally, the F31 series is expected to deliver stronger network stability with Oppo’s Hunter Antenna layout, which can reportedly boost signal reception by up to 300 per cent. Further, a four-channel reception system is said to automatically switch to the most reliable network, reducing the chances of call drops or weak connectivity.

The Oppo F31 series seems to be an iterative update over the F29 lineup, focusing primarily on battery capacity and durability rather than major hardware overhauls. The official launch details, however, remain under wraps until Oppo makes a formal announcement next month.
