OnePlus also announced that the OnePlus 6 has already registered 1 million ‘Notify Me’ registrations on Amazon India.

As the launch of the OnePlus 6 gets closer, the company is confirming more and more features of the smartphone. This time around, the company has posted a teaser on social media that more-or-less confirms the inclusion of a slow motion feature on the OnePlus 6. While the teaser doesn’t specify any details, it is possible that the phone may feature super slow motion recording, similar to what we’ve seen from phones like the Samsung Galaxy S9, and Huawei P20 Pro

Both these smartphones are capable of recording video at 960fps at 720p. However, Sony’s new Xperia XZ2 Premium is capable of recording at 1080p. So, we’ll have to wait and see what’s the OnePlus 6 will offer.

In other news, actor Amitabh Bachchan may have accidentally revealed the black and white versions of the OnePlus 6. He had initially posted a tweet which showed OnePlus CEO holding a White version of the phone, while he held the Black variant. The tweet was later replaced with a selfie, but the cached version of the tweet can be seen here.

To recall, OnePlus is expected to globally unveil its new flagship device on May 16, followed by the Indian launch the following day. The phone will be available early to Prime subscribers on May 21. OnePlus has also announced that the OnePlus 6 has already registered 1 million ‘Notify Me’ registrations on Amazon India.

OnePlus recently teased that the OnePlus 6 may come with a heart rate sensor. The company has already confirmed some of the features of its upcoming flagship smartphone. This includes a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC and will offer upto 8GB RAM and 256GB storage. The device was spotted on TENAA a few days back as as per that listing, the device might feature a 6.28-inch Full HD display with a resolution of 1080 x 2280 pixels. The device may feature a dual-rear camera with 12MP+16MP rear cameras, while at the front it may feature 16MP unit. The company has also teased other features of the OnePlus 6 including water resistance, as well as a focusing feature for the alert slider.
