OnePlus’ brand new flagship smartphone, the OnePlus 6 will go on sale for the first time today on Amazon as well as via pop-up stores across India. The sale on Amazon will commence at 12PM, however, it will only be available for Amazon Prime members. Those without Prime will either have to wait till tomorrow to buy the OnePlus 6 online, or head over to one of the pop-up events that are scheduled to be held across eight cities in India on May 21, and May 22. These pop-up events will be held in Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Pune, Ahmedabad, Kolkata and Chennai. The OnePlus 6 is currently available in two variants, one with 6GB RAM/64GB storage, and the other with 8GB RAM/128GB storage. The two variants are priced at Rs 34,999 and Rs 39,999 respectively. The company has also unveiled a OnePlus 6 Marvel Avengers Limited Edition version of the smartphone, but that will be available at a later date. This particular version offers 256GB of storage and is priced at Rs 44,999.

Those who purchase the device from Amazon can avail a cashback of Rs 2,000 on transactions using SBI Debit and Credit Cards in the first week on the launch. They can also avail No Cost EMI for upto 3 months on popular banks. On top of this, buyers can also be eligible for 12-month Accidental Damage Insurance by Servify on downloading Kotak 811 app as well as Rs 250 for all Amazon Prime Video consumers. They will also get discounts of up to Rs 500 on Amazon Kindle e-books. Other partner offers include up to Rs 2,000 cashback and device insurance for Idea subscribers and benefits of up to Rs 25,000 on flights and hotel bookings from ClearTrip.

To recall, the OnePlus 6 was globally unveiled on May 16, followed by the Indian launch a day later. The smartphone features a 6.28-inch Full HD+ display with a taller aspect ratio of 19:9. The device is powered by a Snapdragon 845 SoC, and is the first device to be powered by the chipset to launch in India. At the back of the device is a 16MP+20MP dual camera setup, while at the front is a 16MP unit. The phone runs on OxygenOS 5.1, which is based on Android Oreo v8.1.
