The smartphone will be a successor to the current generation OnePlus 15 and is tipped to bring major changes, especially in the camera department. While the company has not yet officially announced anything, the leaks and rumours are painting a clear picture of the device, giving the users an early look at what the smartphone could offer. A recent leak at Webio also claims that the device could come with a 200MP primary camera. According to a recent post on Weibo by the tipster Digital Chat Station, the upcoming OnePlus 16 model may launch with a triple-camera setup at the back which will be led by a 200MP primary camera. Along with that, you also get a 50MP telephoto lens and a 50MP ultrawide sensor. At the front the handset is also tipped to come with a 50MP lens that can help users with selfies and video calls.

OnePlus 16: Specs (Expected)
OnePlus is expected to feature a 6.78-inch AMOLED display paired with 165Hz in its upcoming OnePlus 16 model. The device is also rumoured to house the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro chipset under the hood. Users are also anticipated to get up to 16GB of LPDDR6 RAM and up to 1TB of internal storage.
Out of the box, the device is said to run on ColorOS 17, an Android 17-based skin. The handset is also said to come packed with a 9,000mAh battery cell which may get fast wired and wireless charging support.

While the company has not yet officially announced the device, leaks and rumours suggest that the smartphone could land in the Indian market in November. Reports suggest that the smartphone could come with a starting price of around Rs 1 lakh. Much like everything else, these should be taken as leaks, as the official pricing will only be announced at the time of launch.
