Motorola has officially announced its entry in the book-style foldable smartphone segment with the Motorola Razr Fold. The company has been teasing the device for a few days and has now revealed that the foldable device will make its debut next week. For the unversed, the device was showcased at the MWC 2026 and will be the company’s answer to Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7, Google Pixel 10 Pro Fold and Vivo X Fold 5. Motorola has confirmed that the Razr Fold will launch in India on May 13. The smartphone will be available on Flipkart, Motorola’s official website, and select offline retail stores. However, the exact availability details and offer remain under wraps.

The Motorola Razr Fold features a 6.6-inch LTPO pOLED outer display with a 165Hz refresh rate and peak brightness of up to 6,000 nits. On the inside, the foldable smartphone gets a larger 8.1-inch LTPO pOLED display with 2K resolution and 120Hz refresh rate support. The device may come protected by Gorilla Glass Ceramic 3. Under the hood, the device may come powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 processor and could be paired with up to 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1TB UFS 4.1 storage.

In terms of camera, the device may offer a triple rear camera setup featuring a 50MP Sony LYTIA primary sensor, a 50MP periscope telephoto camera, and a 50MP ultra-wide lens. For selfies, the device may offer a 32MP and 20MP selfie camera.
The device is also said to be backed by a 6,000 mAh battery and support 80W wired charging. It may also support 50W wireless charging. It may also get an IP49 rating for dust and water resistance.
Motorola Razr Fold price
The Motorola Razr Fold is expected to be priced at around Rs 1,50,000 in India, as per the early reports. However, we may have to wait to know more about the price. The company has confirmed that the foldable phone will arrive in Pantone Blackened Blue and Pantone Lily White colour options. It will also be available in two storage variants, including 12GB RAM with 256GB storage and 16GB RAM with 512GB storage.
