Motorola will be launching its second gen Moto E smartphone in India on March 10. The company has sent out invites for an event in New Delhi for the same date. According to reports, the phone will be priced between Rs. 6,000 – Rs. 7,000 and will launch via e-commerce site Flipkart.

The Moto E second gen, unveiled recently, comes with a few upgrades over the first gen Moto E smartphone. However, the second gen phone faces a lot more and tougher competition as other companies such as Micromax, Xiaomi and Asus are also focussing on the segment.

As far as the specifications go, the second gen Moto E has a 1.2GHz Snapdragon 410 64-bit quad-core processor along with 1GB of RAM. The smartphone has a 4.5-inch qHD display. It is powered by a 2390 mAh battery.

There's an LTE version of the smartphone as well. However, there's no word whether the company will launch 4G version in India. Read: Motorola launches new Moto E with 4G LTE capability
