LG G7 Neo leaked renders reveal iPhone X-like notch, dual vertical cameras
The LG G7 Neo was spotted in Mobile World Congress 2018 and the new renders are based on images and ongoing rumours.
LG’s upcoming flagship smartphone, the G7 Neo, was spotted at the MWC 2018. The company didn’t launch the device at the event and it could be still in the works. Based on the images from the trade show, Techno Buffalo, in collaboration with Ben Geskin, has posted some concept renders of the handset. It can be seen featuring the same design language as the LG V30 and is sporting an iPhone X-like notch with the display.
The smartphone is expected to come with an 18:9 display aspect ratio and the notch is said to house the front-facing camera and the earpiece. On the rear, the device is seen with a vertically stacked dual camera setup and a fingerprint sensor below it and is speculated to come with a dual camera on the front as well. In terms of specifications, the LG G7 could feature a 6-inch OLED display with a 3120×1440p resolution. It will most likely be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC and come with up to 6GB of RAM and up to 128GB of internal storage.
At the recently concluded MWC 2018, LG launched newer versions of its V30 and V30+, called the V30S ThinQ and the V30S+ ThinQ. The highlight of these smartphones, over their predecessors, is the memory bump they’ve received. The LG V30S comes with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage, whereas the LG V30S+ variant of the new ThinQ line features 6GB RAM with 256GB ROM. There are no substantial changes on the hardware front, but the handsets will come with two new colours, Moroccan Blue and the Platinum Grey.
