LG Nexus leaks again, this time in Black
HIGHLIGHTS

The leaked image seems to be part of an internal presentation from a Korean company. With it comes a new set of rumours about the specs.

A new image of the much leaked LG Nexus has appeared on the Internet. The image, which shows the device in black colour, is accompanied by the device's specifications, which are somewhat different from what rumours have suggested till now. The image seems to be a part of an internal presentation from a Korean company, and has the name 'Project N3' mentioned on top, with 'The Next Nexus' written below it. This indicates that Project N3 may be the codename for the device, while leaks have also suggested that the consumer version will be called the LG Nexus 5X.

The image shows both the front and back of the smartphone, with the LG and Nexus logos prominently visible. According to the leaked specifications, the device will have a 5.2 inch FHD display, along with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 SoC and 2GB of RAM. In addition, the LG Nexus 5X will have a 12.3 MP camera along with a 5MP front shooter. The leak also suggests that the phone will have 32GB of internal storage, expandable to 64GB. It may also have a 2,700 mAh battery along with Cat 6 LTE support. Lastly, the Nexus 5X will of course run the Android 6.0 Marshmallow running out-of-the-box.

While there is no official confirmation yet, the LG Nexus 5X is more or less confirmed to be one of two Nexus devices that will be launched this year, the other one being made by Huawei. The Huawei version of the Nexus will reportedly come with a 5.7 inch QHD display, along with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 SoC.

None of the rumours that have come so far have been confirmed by any of the companies involved though, but it seems more or less confirmed. Android Marshmallow will launch alongside the new Nexus device, and they're expected to be launched globally at the end of September.
