HTC last week announced its Desire 826 smartphone in India. Priced at Rs. 25,990, the new Desire 826 supports dual-SIM, runs Android 5.0 Lollipop with Sense UI on top of it, and is powered by a 64-bit octa-core Snapdragon 615 processor with 2GB RAM.
HTC had unveiled the HTC Desire 826 at the CES 2015 earlier this year. The smartphone features a 5.5-inch full HD display. It sports 13-megapixel rear and front cameras. The Desire 826 also features BoomSound speakers with Dolby Audio . The smartphone is powered by a 2600 mAh battery.

HTC's new phone is said to be competing against the likes of Xiaomi Mi 4 and Cyanogen's OnePlus One. HTC's official India website has currently listed the Desire 826 as “coming soon”.
The company had recently launched the Desire 820 dual-SIM, featuring 5.5 inch HD display, MediaTek octa-core processor and dual-sim LTE support. The smartphone is priced at Rs 24,890.
