Li Jie’s Weibo post, when translated by a machine, suggests that he posted images for a camera performance comparison. The images appear to be a direct side-by-side comparison of photographs taken with the OnePlus 12 and another high-end “Pro” branded smartphone, possibly the Xiaomi 14 Pro, reports Gizmochina.
While it’s not explicitly specified which camera samples belong to which phone, it is expected that the ones demonstrating better results are likely from the OnePlus 12’s camera.
OnePlus recently announced that the OnePlus 12 will come with Sony’s latest Lytia camera sensor. There are rumours that suggest it might use the same LYT-T808 main camera found on the OnePlus Open.

In addition to the main camera, the device is expected to have a 48MP IMX581 lens for ultra-wide shots and a 64MP OmniVision OV64B periscope telephoto camera, which could offer up to 5x optical zoom.
The OnePlus 12 smartphone is confirmed to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset. It will likely come packed with a 5,400mAh battery with support for 100W wired and 50W wireless charging.
It is expected to feature the BOE X1 curved-edge display that could offer a 2K resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and around 3,000 nits of brightness.
Recently, the upcoming OnePlus 12 smartphone made an appearance on AnTuTu, securing a score of 2,110,808. Furthermore, the global version of the phone was also spotted on IMDA and GeekBench platforms.
