Asus’ newest smartphone, the Zenfone Max Pro M1 will be available for sale on Flipkart at 12PM today. The smartphone is available in two variants, the 3GB RAM/32GB storage variant is priced at Rs 10,999, while the 4GB RAM/64GB storage variant is priced at Rs 12,999. The Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1 is also the first smartphone by the company to ditch the ZenUI and offer stock Android Oreo. Those who purchase the device can also avail Flipkart’s Complete Mobile Protection plan for Rs 499. The retailer states that it is a ‘comprehensive protection plan” and covers a multitude of like software problems, broken screen, liquid damage and more.
To recall, the smartphone was launched last month and features a 5.99-inch IPS full HD+ display with a display aspect ratio of 18:9. The device is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 SoC and is equipped with a 5000mAh battery, which the company claims can deliver up to 25.3 hours of video playback. At the back of the phone is a dual-rear camera setup with 13MP + 5MP cameras, while at the front is an 8MP camera. The front and rear cameras come with an LED flash. Further, the Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1 features a dual SIM card slot, along with a dedicated microSd card slot. For audio, the phone is equipped with a 5 magnet speaker along with an NXP smart amplifier.
The Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1 goes up against Xiaomi’s two Redmi Note devices, the Redmi Note 5 and the Redmi Note 5 Pro. Both devices feature a 5.99-inch FHD+ display with an 18;9 display aspect ratio. The Redmi Note 5 is powered by a Snapdragon 625 SoC and is available in 3GB RAM/32GB storage and 4GB RAM/64GB storage variants. At the back of the phone is a single 12MP sensor, while at the front is a 5MP unit. The phone is priced at Rs 9,999 and Rs 11,999 respectively.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro is powered by a Snapdragon 636 SoC and is available in 4GB RAM/64GB storage, and 6GB RAM/64GB storage variants. The device offers a dual-rear camera setup with 12MP + 5MP sensors, while at the front is a 20MP unit.
