Apple appears to be preparing for its flagship iPhone 17 series launch in September. This year, we may see the release of a new iPhone 17 Air, which will replace the iPhone 17 Plus, and an iPhone 17 Ultra, which will replace the iPhone 17 Pro Max. As the rebranding appears to be planned, Apple is also expected to raise iPhone 17 series prices this year.
While these are just rumours for now, we expect significant design and feature changes with the flagship iPhone 17 Pro Max or iPhone 17 Ultra. While official details are kept under wraps, here’s what leaks have revealed.
Apple iPhone 17 Pro Max specs (Expected)
The Apple iPhone 17 Pro Max is said to have a 6.9-inch OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The device could replace the Titanium frame with an Aluminium and Glass back. The device could be powered by Apple’s A19 Pro chipset and have 12GB of RAM. The device could have a Qualcomm modem. The device is also expected to have improved battery life and 35W charging support.
In terms of camera, the device may have a triple camera setup that includes a 48MP Fusion sensor, a 48MP ultra-wide sensor, and a 48MP telephoto sensor. For selfies, the device could have a 24MP front-facing camera.
Apple iPhone 17 Pro Max features (Expected)
Apple iPhone 17 Pro Max may get iOS 19 out of the box which will bring smarter and more capable Siri, thanks to Apple Intelligence. Additionally, the brand may also introduce many AI features including better writing tools, the ability to search photos and so much more.

Apple iPhone 17 Pro Max price (Expected)
According to the report, the iPhone 17 Pro Max could be priced at $1,299 for the base trim, a $100 hike due to ongoing tariff issues. However, it remains unknown if it impacts India’s prices or not. For now, we expect that the iPhone 17 Pro Max could be around Rs 1,44,900.

The iPhone 17 Pro Max could be released in the second week of September, alongside the iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Air, and iPhone 17 Pro. The rumoured dates range from September 11 to 13. However, Apple has yet to confirm all of the aforementioned details.
