Apple has finally announced its biggest launch event of the year under the Awe-Dropping banner. The tech giant is expected to introduce four new iPhones under the iPhone 17 series. The lineup may include the iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Air, iPhone 17 Pro, and iPhone 17 Pro Max, with each bringing new colours, improved specifications, design changes and new features.

iPhone 17 Pro Max, 17 Pro, 17 launch date
Apple has officially announced that it will be organising an event ‘Awe Dropping’ on September 9. The date coincides with the previous leaks, which also suggested that the device will be available for sale starting September 18 or 19. However, the sale and pre-order details are under wraps at the moment.

iPhone 17 Pro Max, 17 Pro, 17 specs
The iPhone 17 is expected to retain a similar design to the iPhone 16 with a dual camera- 48MP primary sensor and 12MP ultra-wide sensor. However, it may get a larger screen and 120Hz ProMotion tech. It could be powered by the Apple A19 processor and paired with 8GB RAM. It may also support Apple Intelligence features, camera controls and much more.
On the other hand, the iPhone 17 Air is said to replace the iPhone 17 Plus with a new slim design (5.5mm thick) and Pixel-like camera island. It could weigh less compared to the Galaxy S25 Edge. It may feature a 48MP main camera and could be powered by the A19 Pro chipset.
The iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max are said to feature the biggest design change. It could get a new rectangular camera bar with a familiar triple 48MP camera setup. The flash and LiDAR could be moved towards the right. Both devices may get a slightly tweaked placement of the Apple logo. It could come powered by the A19 Pro chip, paired with up to 12GB RAM. However, the iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max may have display size differences.

As per the reports, the iPhone 17 could be priced at Rs 89,900, and the iPhone 17 Air could be priced at Rs 99,900. The iPhone 17 Pro is likely to start at Rs 1,24,900, and the iPhone 17 Pro Max may cost Rs 1,64,900.
The iPhone 17 could be offered in Steel Grey, Green, Purple and Light Blue. The iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max could be offered in Black, White, Grey, Dark Blue and Orange.
