Airtel offering Rs 2,000 cashback on Moto and Lenovo phones to rival Jio’s Football offer

To rival Reliance Jio’s new ‘Football Offer’ which promises a Rs 2,200 cashback upon buying a new device, Airtel is now offering Rs 2,000 cashback as part of its ‘Merea Pehla Smartphone’ initiative. The telco is offering the cashback on select 4G devices by Motorola and Lenovo.

Airtel is now offering Rs 2,000 cashback as part of its ‘Mera Pehla Smartphone’ initiative to rival Reliance Jio’s new ‘Football Offer’. This offer promises a Rs 2,200 cashback upon buying a new device, and the telco is offering the cashback on select 4G devices by Motorola and Lenovo.

The offer is available on the Moto C, the Moto E4 and the Lenovo K8 Note. After the cashback, the effective price of the Moto C will come down to Rs 3,999 from Rs 5,999, while the Moto E4 will retail for Rs 6,499 instead of Rs 8,499. The Lenovo K8 Note will be effectively priced at Rs 10,999, down from Rs 12,999. The phones will come bundled with a special recharge pack of Rs 169 from Airtel, which will offer 1GB of 4G data per day and unlimited calling, both local and STD.

The cashback benefit of Rs 2,000 will be given to customers in two installments over 36 months. A customer needs to make Airtel prepaid recharges worth Rs 3,500 within 18 months to be eligible for the first cashback installment of Rs 500. Similarly, another set of recharges worth Rs. 3,500 over the next 18 months will make the customer eligible for the second installment of Rs. 1,500.
