About the all-new Prestige series laptops
The new Prestige lineup is all about upgrades- both visual and functional. The Prestige 14 and Prestige 16 arrive with a softer, more refined design language featuring rounded edges, slimmer profiles, and full aluminium construction. Weight has been trimmed aggressively too, with the Prestige 14 now down to just 1.32kg and the Prestige 16 weighing 1.59kg, making them among the lightest laptops in their respective sizes.
Under the hood, the Prestige series runs on Intel Core Ultra Series 3 processors paired with Intel Arc B390 graphics, promising a noticeable boost in AI acceleration and graphical capability. MSI claims up to 30 hours of 1080p video playback thanks to the large 81Wh battery, positioning these laptops as true multi-day machines. Cooling is handled by an advanced vapor chamber and Intra Flow thermal design.
The Prestige Flip variants add a 2-in-1 form factor with touchscreen OLED panels and stylus support. MSI also bundles its new Nano Pen with the laptops. Along with this, the lineup also offers a 2.8K 120Hz OLED display, a much larger Action Touchpad, and enterprise-grade security features.
As for availability, the new Prestige series will open for pre-orders starting January 6, 2026, with sales beginning January 27.
Prestige 13 AI+ weighs just 899 grams
For users who prefer portability over all else, MSI also showcased the updated Prestige 13 AI+. Weighing just 899 grams, it now claims the title of the world’s lightest 13-inch magnesium-aluminium laptop. Despite its featherweight design, it still packs Intel Core Ultra Series 3 performance and up to 64GB of LPDDR5x memory.
The laptop targets frequent travellers and business users who need a device that disappears into a backpack but still handles demanding workloads. With an OLED display, enterprise-grade security, Wi-Fi 7, and a surprisingly robust port selection for its size, the Prestige 13 AI+ feels purpose-built for professionals who refuse to compromise between power and portability.
About MSI Modern 14S and 16S
MSI also used CES 2026 to introduce the refreshed Modern S series, aimed at users who want a premium look and solid performance without stepping into flagship pricing. The Modern 14S and 16S feature a redesigned chassis with more metal elements and smoother contours, giving them a noticeably more upmarket feel compared to previous generations.
Powered by Intel Core Ultra Series 3 processors, these laptops offer dual memory slots for easy upgrades and a generous selection of ports, including USB-A, USB-C with charging and display support, HDMI, RJ-45 Ethernet, and a microSD card reader. Despite the added versatility, portability remains a strong point, with the 14-inch OLED variant weighing as little as 1.3kg and measuring just 11.1mm at its thinnest point. For students, home users, and professionals on a budget, the Modern S series promises a sensible balance between design, performance, and flexibility.
MSI Stealth 16 AI+ is just 16.6mm thick
The Stealth series has always been about balancing performance with portability, and the Stealth 16 AI+ takes that balance further. Measuring just 16.6mm thick and weighing under 2kg, it still manages to push more power to the RTX 50 series GPU thanks to an upgraded cooling system with multi-directional exhausts.
Wrapped in a deep grey aluminium chassis, the Stealth 16 AI+ looks professional enough for meetings while hiding serious gaming and creative horsepower underneath. A large 90Wh battery promises to support your long workdays, and MSI has not compromised on connectivity, offering Thunderbolt 4, HDMI 2.1, USB-A ports, and RJ-45 Ethernet. With dual memory and SSD slots, it remains surprisingly upgrade-friendly for a thin-and-light performance laptop.
MSI Raider lineup for gamers
The Raider lineup continues to be MSI’s no-holds-barred gaming series, and the new Raider 16 Max HX pushes that thought even further. MSI claims it is the world’s first gaming laptop capable of delivering 300W of total system power, splitting 175W to the RTX 5090 or 5080 GPU and 125W to the Intel Core Ultra 200HX processor.
To keep temperatures in check, MSI has introduced its new Cooler Boost Trinity with Intra Flow system, featuring three fans, six heat pipes, and phase-change thermal compound. This promises sustained performance without excessive noise, even during extended gaming or rendering sessions. MSI has also focused on upgradability, adding a quick-access bottom panel for easy memory and SSD upgrades, with support for DDR5 RAM and PCIe Gen5 storage.
Visually, the Raider 16 Max HX comes with a 2.5K 240Hz OLED display certified for DisplayHDR True Black 1000.
Crosshair series for gamers who want style
The new Crosshair 16 Max HX and Crosshair 16 HX cater to gamers who want aggressive styling and strong performance without stepping into flagship pricing. Powered by Intel Core Ultra 200HX processors and RTX 50 series GPUs, these laptops can deliver up to 200W of total system power, a notable jump over the previous generation.
MSI pairs this with optional QHD+ OLED displays running at 165Hz, delivering sharp visuals and smooth gameplay. The redesigned I/O layout moves key ports to the rear for cleaner desk setups, while the 24-zone RGB keyboard reinforces the Crosshair’s bold gaming identity. It is a lineup said to be built for players who want power, personality, and value in equal measure.
Claw 8 AI+ Glacier Blue Edition unveiled
Finally, MSI expanded its handheld lineup with the Claw 8 AI+ Glacier Blue Edition. Featuring an eye-catching icy blue finish layered across its curved chassis, this special edition blends esports-inspired design with a playful visual identity. Internally, it retains the same flagship specifications as the standard Claw 8 AI+, including Intel Core Ultra processors, Arc Xe2 graphics, a high-refresh-rate 8-inch display, and a large 80Wh battery.
