WhatsApp has finally launched a dedicated app for the Apple Watch.
If your Apple Watch is paired with your iPhone and automatic downloads are enabled, WhatsApp for Apple Watch will be installed automatically.
Alternatively, you can manually install it through the Watch app.
WhatsApp has finally launched a dedicated app for the Apple Watch. The new experience aims to help you stay on top of conversations without having to pull out your iPhone. The app goes beyond simple notifications and adds several long-requested features so you can read, reply and interact with messages right from the watch.
SurveyWhatsApp also notes that personal messages and calls remain private with end-to-end encryption. This means that no one outside of the chat, not even WhatsApp or Meta, can read, listen to, or share your messages and calls. The company says this is only the start, and even promises to bring more useful features to people who use Apple Watch.

WhatsApp app for Apple Watch includes a number of features users have asked for, including:
- Call notifications: See who’s calling without taking out your iPhone.
- Full messages: Read entire WhatsApp messages right on your Apple Watch, even long ones.
- Voice messages: Record and send voice messages directly from your wrist.
- Message reactions: Quickly respond with emoji reactions to any message.
- Enhanced media experience: See clear images and stickers on your Apple Watch.

The WhatsApp Apple Watch app requires Apple Watch Series 4 or later, running watchOS 10 or later.
