Realtek's SoCs, namely Far-Field Speech Recognition chip, Bluetooth 5.0 Low Energy SoC and Wi-Fi IP Camera SoC, have won the awards
Realtek Semiconductor Corp., an international network and multimedia IC provider, announced recently that Realtek has won three Best Choice Awards at COMPUTEX TAIPEI 2018, including a Best Choice Golden Award.
The Multi-Mic Far-Field Speech Recognition Enhanced Single Chip Solution (ALC5520) won the 2018 COMPUTEX Best Choice Golden Award. Realtek’s Audio/Voice DSP is a total solution for Far-Field Voice applications. The integration of embedded 103dB SNR Hi-Fi, low power ADC, multi-core 32-bit DSP with vFPU, and Realtek proprietary voice processing technology is aimed at enhancing the Speech Recognition performance of the ALC5520, even in noisy and far-field (over 10 meters) environments. These factors make the ALC5520 suited for adoption across products like smart speaker, smart TV, mobile device, white goods, and automotive electronics.
Along with that, the Realtek Bluetooth 5.0 Low Energy SoC (RTL8762C) and Wi-Fi IP Camera SoC (RTL8715A) won the 2018 COMPUTEX Best Choice Category Award. According to Realtek, the RTL8762C is the lowest-power BLE SoC available in the market. It is aimed at Bluetooth remote control, Bluetooth wristbands, and IoT appliances. It comes with an integrated voice processing unit and support for the latest Bluetooth 5.0 specification and also supports auto-pairing.
The Wi-Fi IP Camera SoC (RTL8715A), according to Realtek, is the world’s first ultra-low-power, highly integrated wireless network camera SoC. The RTL8715A integrates H264 Encoder/ISP/Wi-Fi/Audio Codec/PMU functions in a single chip. It features ultra-low power consumption, smallest size, fast system boot up, advanced Trust-zone, and Secure boot system security.
