OpenAI is expected to announce new features for its widely popular AI model ChatGPT. A new ChatGPT Pro Max plan that could cost $500 per month and sit above the Pro plan could also be announced. Further, announcements related to GPT-6 Astra are also expected at the event.

The company may announce a new AI agent, reportedly named “Aeon”, to rival Meta’s Muse and others. Like other AI agents, it is likely to act as a personal assistant to book tickets, schedule tasks, buy items online, and do other similar tasks for its user.

Fortune reported that OpenAI could preview GPT-6 Cyber, a cybersecurity-centric model and products that can be deployed to automate security workflows. Additionally, more than a dozen non-security-related announcements are anticipated for consumers and enterprises. While the possibilities are rare, the Sam Altman-led company could also showcase a hardware product at the event.

Moreover, BleepingComputer spotted an always-on assistant dubbed “o” listed as a benefit with ChatGPT Pro for a short period. The assistant could get officially announced at DevDay 2026. Moreover, Ultrafast API could get a wider rollout at DevDay 2026 for faster processing.
