Tech brand Nothing on Wednesday announced a new file-sharing app called Warp. However, the app disappeared just hours after it was introduced, leaving many users wondering what exactly happened. For those unaware, the idea behind Warp was to allow users to send files from their smartphone to a computer without needing cables or manually moving files through folders.
SurveyWhen a user sent a file through Warp, the app would first upload the file to their Google Drive account. The file would then be downloaded on the other device connected to the same account. Once the transfer was complete, Warp automatically removed the file from the cloud storage, reports 9To5Google.

However, Warp did not stay available for long. Shortly after the launch, users noticed that the app had started disappearing from official sources. The blog post announcing Warp was removed, and the listing for the app on the Google Play Store also disappeared for users who had not already installed it, as per the report. Also, the Chrome extension that supported Warp was also taken down. The removal was unexpected because it happened only a few hours after the initial announcement.

So far, Nothing has not shared any explanation about why Warp was suddenly removed. The company has also not confirmed whether the tool will return in the future or if the launch was cancelled permanently.
