Meta launches Vibes, a short-form feed for AI-generated videos

Meta has announced that it is rolling out Vibes, a new short-form feed in the Meta AI app and on meta.ai where users can explore, create and share AI-generated videos. This early preview is designed to make it easier for people to find inspiration and experiment with Meta AI’s media tools.

Vibes showcases a variety of AI-generated videos from creators and communities. As users browse, the feed will become more personalised, showing content that matches their interests. Users can start from scratch, work with existing content, or remix videos they see in the feed. They can add new visuals, layer music, and adjust styles.

Once a video is ready, users can post it to the Vibes feed, send it to friends via direct message, or share it on Instagram and Facebook Stories and Reels. Videos seen on Instagram that were created with Meta AI can also be remixed back in the Meta AI app.

“Beyond Vibes, the Meta AI app is still your hub for managing AI glasses, capturing moments, and exploring creative possibilities with your photos and videos. The Meta AI assistant is always there to provide answers, ideas, and inspiration,” the company explained in a blogpost.

Meta is also working with artists and creators to develop more advanced AI tools and models. “We’re working on even more powerful creation tools and models with a number of talented visual artists and creators, and will be rolling these out more widely in the future,” the company said.
