Google has announced its November Pixel Feature Drop, and it’s packed with new AI-powered tools, creative features, and smart upgrades that make your Pixel even more helpful. One of the biggest highlights of the latest Pixel Drop is Remix in Google Messages, a new way to edit and reimagine photos right inside your conversations. Google is also adding AI-powered notification summaries to help you catch up on long chats quickly, scam alerts for chat messages, new theme packs, and much more. SurveyRemix photos right in Google Messages and ‘Wicked: For Good’ theme packs
With Remix, you can now edit, enhance, and reimagine any photo directly in Google Messages. Powered by Gemini’s image model, Nano Banana, you can reimagine photos and share them instantly, even in group chats. If you’re chatting with another Google Messages user, you can both remix the same image back and forth without leaving the app. Also, there are new ‘Wicked: For Good’ theme packs that lets you customise your Pixel device with wallpapers, icons, system sounds and GIFs inspired by the film.

AI-powered notification summaries
Long chat threads are now easier to follow. Your Pixel device can create summaries of long messages right in your notification shade. Starting in December, your phone will also automatically organise and silence lower-priority notifications to reduce distractions.
Better safety and VIP alerts
Pixel phones (Pixel 6 and newer in the US) can now detect likely scams in chat notifications and warn you instantly. Google is also giving VIP contacts special treatment. Messages from VIP contacts will now be prioritised, and they’ll have a crisis badge in the Contacts widget.

Personalised photo edits and Power Saving mode in Maps
In Google Photos, you can now ask the app to “remove sunglasses” or “make someone smile” using images already in your library for natural edits. Also, Google is adding a Power Saving mode in Maps, which can extend your battery life by up to four hours. It’s important to note that the Power Saving mode in Maps in currently available only on Pixel 10 series.
Expanding Scam Detection and Call Notes
Scam Detection, an AI feature that identifies and alerts about speech patterns commonly used by scammers during phone calls, is now available to Pixel 9 and newer users in the UK, Ireland, India, Australia, and Canada.
In addition, Call Notes is expanding to Australia, Canada, the UK, Ireland, and Japan. Powered by Gemini Nano, Call Notes can record your calls, generate transcripts and summaries, and suggest next steps based on your conversation.
