Apple’s October 2026 launch roadmap leaked: Smart home devices to OLED iPad mini, what to expect
Apple is rumoured to launch a home hub with a screen, new HomePod mini and upgraded Apple TV on October 13.
A second launch cycle could take place in the final week of October, potentially bringing an OLED touch-enabled MacBook Pro, new iMac and Mac Studio M5 Ultra 512GB.
The OLED iPad mini could feature an A20 Pro chip, 12GB RAM, landscape front camera, upgraded speakers and an IP rating.
Cupertino-based tech giant Apple is rumoured to launch three new smart home products on October 13. These could include a home hub with a screen, a new HomePod mini and an upgraded Apple TV set-top box. MacRumours now reports the company could hold another launch cycle this month, hinting at even more product launches in October.
SurveyCiting sources, the news outlet reported that the rumoured launches could take place in the final week of October. However, details on the products expected at the event remain a mystery. But we can expect the company to unveil the MacBooks, iMacs, OLED iPad mini and more.

OLED MacBook Pro, iMac, Mac Studio (M5 Ultra) 512GB, OLED iPad mini expected
The launches could include the MacBook Pro with an OLED touch display. Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman reports two screen sizes (14 and 16 inches) and said the device may launch “as early as October” or November 2026. The brand is said to be testing the unit with beta macOS 27.2. It will likely be powered by the M5 Pro and M5 Max processors.
The OLED touch-enabled device is said to offer a noticeably thin-and-light form factor and Dynamic Island as a replacement for the traditional notch. The laptop will likely be priced higher than the existing MacBook Pro models.

Secondly, a 14-inch MacBook Pro and a new 24-inch iMac with an M6 chipset could debut at the event, MacRumors speculated. Apple has already confirmed the 512GB trim of the latest Mac Studio with M5 Ultra will arrive in October. This product could see the light of day at the event.
Lastly, Apple is expected to unveil the long-rumoured OLED iPad mini. It will likely have an A20 Pro chipset and an updated speaker system. Alongside slim bezels, the front camera is reportedly shifting to landscape orientation. Further, the device could offer 12GB RAM for AI-powered Siri support. The tablet could also get an IP rating for the first time.

Meanwhile, Gurman earlier reported that three home products are expected on October 13. It remains unclear whether the products discussed above will launch on this date or later this month. Since Apple has not confirmed any details about the event, readers must take the details with a grain of salt.
