Take-Two CEO says GTA 6 looks awesome after seeing it in action
Take Two CEO just called GTA 6 'awesome'
He is not a gamer but has seen the game in action
GTA 6 will launch on November 19 this year
Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick has made gamers around the world really, really jealous. He has seen GTA 6 in action, the moment that fans of the franchise have been waiting for since 2013. Since Zelnick is not a gamer, he didn’t play the game himself but he did see his employees play it. Off late, he has been dropping hints about the game as we get closer to the launch date and this latest comment was made while interacting with Game File’s Stephen Totilo during an event in Las Vegas, USA.

As per a report in RockStar Intel, Totilo spoke to Game File during the iicon event in Las Vegas. The Take Two CEO revealed that while he does not personally play video games, he does get internal demonstrations of projects being developed under Take-Two’s various studios, including Rockstar Games.
When asked directly whether he had played GTA 6, Zelnick reportedly responded by saying that he is “not a video game player.” He further clarified that while he does not sit down and play the games himself, “everything” is demoed for him internally. This effectively confirms that the Take-Two boss has already seen GTA 6 gameplay behind closed doors.
Naturally, Totilo followed up by asking how the game looked based on what Zelnick had seen so far. The executive avoided going into specifics and instead pointed towards Rockstar’s recently released trailer, calling it “amazing” before deciding to “leave it at that.”
While the comments do not reveal anything substantial about GTA 6 itself, they once again highlight just how tight lipped Rockstar and Take-Two are about the game ahead of launch. Apart from trailers and a handful of official statements, the company has remained extremely secretive about gameplay details, story elements, and technical features.
The interview also touched on a variety of other topics, including the rising cost of game development, Take-Two’s franchises, and speculation surrounding future projects. Zelnick also clarified recent comments regarding L.A. Noire, saying fans had misunderstood his remarks as a tease for a new entry in the franchise.
About GTA 6
GTA 6 is currently scheduled to launch on November 19 this year after being delayed. Earlier, the game was supposed to launch on May 26 this year. Moreover, GTA 6 will be arriving on consoles first, and news about a PC release remains absent.
Strauss had also revealed the reason behind not bringing GTA 6 to PC on the day of launch. He had said that this is what Rockstar has always done since they need to launch the game first where their ‘core players’ are.
