Take Two CEO Strauss Zelnick on GTA 6 price

According to an IGN report, Zelnick was speaking at a gaming conference when he talked about the GTA 6 price. He said, ‘Consumers pay for the value that you bring to them, and our job is to charge way, way, way less of the value delivery. How you feel about something you buy is the intersection of the thing itself and what you pay for. Consumers need to feel like the thing itself is amazing and the price they were charged was fair for what they got.’

Breaking down his statement, he is simply saying that the makers want to ensure that their customers are happy with the GTA 6 pricing and don’t feel that they overpaid. The game has to offer enough value to its players so that they feel it was justified.

GTA 6: Launch date, download size and more

GTA 6 next trailer could come out very soon: What you should expect

As of now, the launch date for GTA 6 remains November 19, 2026. And it has been the same for a while. A pre-order page is already live for PlayStation players and the game is expected to release as per schedule.

Coming to the download size, reports had earlier claimed that GTA 6 could launch at around 150GB in size, potentially growing to 200GB or even 300GB with updates and DLC.

The game features two main protagonists, and will take us back to the setting of Vice City with next gen graphics. The NPCs are expected to be smarter, the world is expected to be much more immersive and the female character, Lucia, is being looked at as the star of the show since the GTA games have never really had a female protagonist till now.

That said, all eyes are on November 19, when the game finally launches for consoles. There is no word of a PC release yet.
