The PlayStation Network suffered an outage that began on Friday and seems to still be causing a few problems. Sony's PlayStation Network experiences outages on Friday and Saturday

An update on the PlayStation Network page states that ‘some services are experiencing issues’. Account management and the PlayStation store seem to be safe. The only category that seems to still be experiencing issues is Gaming and Social. Sony has had a few problems with the PlayStation Network, with the most notable being the 2011 PSN hack. While this isn't at the level of that issue, it is still a big problem. Engadget has reported that games like Minecraft and Call of Duty: Warzone were not accessible. On the other hand, Fortnite seemed to be running just fine.

Sony had also earlier experienced a short outage on PSN on February 10th. We’re not sure how bad the issue is, at the moment, but we should be hearing something regarding the problem soon. In the meantime, if you’re looking for a PS5 in India, you could be waiting till the second half of the year. You may want to read more about that here. And, in case you’ve already bought your PS5, you’ll be happy to hear that Sony is looking to grant users access to the locked M.2 expansion slot this summer via a firmware update.
