Naturally, fans have been waiting for the next title of the GTA franchise— GTA 6. For years, there were just rumours and leaks, but Rockstar Games stayed quiet for the most part. That changed in December 2023 when Rockstar finally dropped the first official trailer of GTA 6, which quickly went viral. Now, over a year later, the company has finally announced the game’s release date.

Rockstar has officially confirmed that GTA 6 will be released on May 26 next year. While that’s still some time away, the good news is that the date is now official.
GTA 6 price (Expected)
In India, the standard edition of GTA 6 is expected to be priced at Rs 5,999, while special editions could go up to Rs 7,299. Globally, the game is expected to be priced around $100, which is roughly Rs 9,000.
GTA 6 system requirements (Expected)
GTA 6 will likely require at least an Intel Core i7-8700K or AMD Ryzen 7 3700X processor, along with a GTX 1080 Ti or Radeon RX 5700 XT graphics card. Gamers will also need at least 8GB of RAM and about 150GB of free storage space.

GTA 6 gameplay and features (Expected)
For the first time in GTA history, the game will feature a female lead character named Lucia. She will be part of a dual-character storyline. The game is expected to bring more realistic graphics, smarter NPCs, improved police chases and better stealth mechanics.

GTA 6 will take players to the state of Leonida. According to Rockstar, the upcoming game “heads to the state of Leonida, home to the neon-soaked streets of Vice City and beyond in the biggest, most immersive evolution of the Grand Theft Auto series yet.”
