Over the years, fans have eagerly waited for news about the next title in the series. There have been endless leaks and rumours about what GTA 6 could look like, but Rockstar Games remained silent for the most part. That changed in December 2023, when Rockstar finally released the first official trailer of GTA 6. As expected, the trailer went viral within minutes. Since that big reveal, Rockstar has been quiet again. But that hasn’t stopped reports and leaks from giving us an idea of what to expect.

GTA 6 release date (Expected)
Word has it that GTA 6 will be released on September 17, 2025. The game is expected to be available first on the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S consoles. Unfortunately for PC gamers, the wait could be longer. The PC version of GTA 6 is expected to arrive sometime in 2026.
GTA 6 price (Expected)
GTA 6 is expected to cost around Rs 5,999 in India for the standard edition. Meanwhile, the special editions could go as high as Rs 7,299. In international markets, the price is said to be around $100, which roughly converts to Rs 9,000.
GTA 6 system requirements (Expected)
GTA 6 might require at least an Intel Core i7-8700K or AMD Ryzen 7 3700X processor, paired with a GTX 1080 Ti or Radeon RX 5700 XT graphics card. Players will also need at least 8GB of RAM and around 150GB of free storage space.

GTA 6 gameplay and features (Expected)
One of the most exciting details so far is the introduction of a female lead character, named Lucia. This marks the first time in GTA’s history that a woman will take center stage as a playable protagonist. Lucia is expected to be part of a dual-character storyline. The gameplay is also expected to be more realistic with smarter non-playable characters (NPCs), improved police chases, and better stealth mechanics

Rockstar has already confirmed that GTA 6 will be set in the state of Leonida. According to Rockstar, the upcoming game “heads to the state of Leonida, home to the neon-soaked streets of Vice City and beyond in the biggest, most immersive evolution of the Grand Theft Auto series yet.”
GTA 6 new trailer release timeline (Expected)
Reports suggest that Rockstar could release the second official trailer by the end of May 2025.
