What makes Gears of War: Reloaded even more exciting is its cross-platform support. Players can team up or compete online with friends regardless of the platform they use. A Microsoft account isn’t required, but logging in with one unlocks cross-progression.
Gears of War: Reloaded offers 4K resolution, 60 FPS in campaign, and up to 120 FPS in multiplayer. Visual enhancements include HDR, Dolby Vision, 3D spatial audio, remastered textures, and no loading screens during the campaign. Whether you play solo or multiplayer, the game supports two-player co-op and 8-player online multiplayer.
“Gears of War: Reloaded includes the full breadth of content from the Gears of War: Ultimate Edition, delivering the most complete version of the original game to date. Players will gain immediate access to all post-launch downloadable content at no additional cost — this includes the bonus Campaign act, all multiplayer maps and modes, and a full roster of classic characters and cosmetics unlockable through progression,” Microsoft announced in a blogpost.
Microsoft will be offering Gears of War: Reloaded as a free upgrade to anyone who purchased the digital version of Gears of War: Ultimate Edition before this announcement. Eligible users will receive a code before the game launches.
