HIGHLIGHTS

The latest title to the Call of Duty saga will reportedly be the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III.

Users will get an option to carry over items like operators, weapons and more.

It could be the Modern Warfare III and it only makes sense that the World War II settings will return.

Fall is almost round the corner. And do you know what that means? Yes, a new Call of Duty game will be released. Rumours on the internet suggest that the latest title in the Call of Duty saga will be the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III. The could likely be a remastered version of OG Modern Warfare III. Recently Activision, one of the developers of the game Call of Duty, confirmed that this year’s addition to the list of Call of Duty games is indeed going to be the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III helmed by Sledgehammer Games.

The developer further revealed that the games in this upcoming series will be available for both PC and consoles, hopefully on Nintendo Switch too. The game is expected to roll out on November 10th.

But sadly enough, there isn’t a lot of information available about the new and upcoming Call of Duty game. All we have at hand is a teaser video. But don’t lose hopes just yet, Activision hinted recently that the new variant of the game is going to allow users for the first time in its history an option to carry over items like operators, weapons and bundles from one year's Call of Duty game (Modern Warfare II here) to the next one in the series.

This further confirms the hint that the next one to join the Call of Duty games will indeed be the Modern Warfare III and it only makes sense that the World War II settings will return as well.

You must remember how at one point in early 2022 reports indicated that Activision is going to go slow and not release a Call of Duty game this year to work on expanding Modern Warfare II, update Warzone and to work on the next mainline game. But it turns out there was a change of plan there.
